Eng. MATTEO PECCHIOLI


Matteo Pecchioli was born in Tradate (VA) on 11th October 1973. He moved to Ancona where he attended the public school and the University. He obtained his degree on 15th December 1999 at the former Università degli Studi di Ancona (at present: Università Politecnica delle Marche), with the mark of 110/110.

In 2000 he started working as a production manager with Pesaresi Renato in Ancona.

In 2001 he was the production planning and methods-time measurement manager with Tastitalia S.p.A. in Recanati (MC).

In 2004 he was employed with IN.CO.S. S.r.l. in S. Marcello (AN) as a plant manager.

In 2005 he became a freelancer, and started working for both the "Studio Tecnico ing. Pecchioli e Associati" in Spoleto, and at his own office in Ancona. In particular, he was charged with structural calculus on buildings which needed post-earthquake renovations and improvements after the Umbrian earthquake in 1997 and also acquired skills to become an acoustic engineer.

In 2010 he founded A.F.M. Progetti engineer office in Spoleto, together with Eng. Andrea Belmonte and Ms. Fabiana Virgili. At that stage, his expertise ranged from structural calculus to residential wiring, heating system and plumbing design; environmental acoustics and energy performance certification. In particular, he was in charge of the renovation works and post-earthquake improvements in buildings which were damaged by the earthquake that stroke Abruzzo in 2009.

Since 2006 he has been a court-appointed expert for the Civil Court in Spoleto and since 2007 for the Civil Court in Ancona. The main area of expertise he has been involved in are the following: plant conformity, succession partitions, structural conformity inspections and assessment of workers' exposure to asbestos. In 2011 he attended a course in Forensic Engineering in Ancona, which has therefore become one of his area of expertise.

Since 2013 he has lectured in workshops on "Certified translators: court-appointed experts and expert witnesses", dedicated to students of the universities of Macerata, Perugia, Misano Adriatico, with 1 credit recognition for the students of the university of Macerata.

Since 2014 he has lectured on workshops on "Procedural and legal aspects in court-appointed matters and expert witnessing", for surveyors. The workshops have been awarded with credit recognition by the Surveyors Board of Terni..

Still since 2014 he has lectured in workshops on "The lawyers' informed participation in court-appointed experts' advice", for lawyers. The workshops have been awarded with credit recognition by the Bar Association of Terni and Spoleto .

In the period 2014-2017 he has worked as senior claim assessor for Banca delle Marche S.p.A. bank.

Since 2015 he is Accident reconstruction expert, for private customers, as court-appointed expert for the Civil Court in Spoleto and for the Justice of the Peace.

He published the chapter “Il Perito, il CTU, l'Ausiliario di P.G.: introduzione alla professione” in “Legal English” book (Patrizia Giampieri, Giuffrè 2015).

He published the chapter “Il Perito, il CTU, l'Ausiliario di P.G.: introduzione alla professione” in “Legal English per avvocati e traduttori” book (Patrizia Giampieri, Giuffrè 2017).

Member of the Forensic Commission of the Engineering Council in Ancona, since 2017, and provincial Delegate for the Engineering Council of Ancona at the National Forensic Commission of the National Enginnering Council. He currently lives in Spoleto and works both in the main office in Spoleto and in his own office in Ancona.



Eng. ANDREA BELMONTE


Andrea Belmonte was born in Spoleto on 22th March 1968. He attended secondary school in Spoleto and on 1st July 1987 he obtained a diploma as a building surveyor at the Istituto Tecnico per Geometri "Giovanni Spagna" in Spoleto, with the mark of 54/60. He studied Engineering at the University of Perugia and graduated in March 1995 with the mark of 100/110.

In 1995 he joined the army as an Officer Cadet at the Engineer Corps in Rome.

In 1998 he was a technical employee of the Municipality of Spoleto and was in charge of residential buildings design and of the city road network planning. He also designed hydraulic works, public car parks, public parks and gardens.

In 1999 he became a freelancer and worked with the "Studio di Ingegneria e Architettura Urbanistica di Pier Luigi Pecchioli & C." engineer office in Spoleto. He was in charge of structural calculus, architectural design, building managing, executive planning, accounting. In the meanwhile, he undertook training to become a Construction Safety Manager.

In 2005 he joined the "Studio Tecnico Ing. Pecchioli e Associati" engineer office and was in charge of residential building design and post-earthquake building renovation works and improvements after the Umbrian earthquake in 1997. Since 2008 he has also carried out building structural tests.

In 2010 he founded the "Studio Tecnico Associato A.F.M. Progetti" engineer office together with Eng. Matteo Pecchioli and Ms. Fabiana Virgili, in which he is in charge of structural calculus, residential electric wiring, heating system and plumbing design, energy performance certification, construction safety management, building structural testing and accounting. In particular, he was in charge of the renovation works and of the post-earthquake improvements in buildings which were damaged by the earthquake that stroke Abruzzo in 2009.

Since 2006 he has been a court-appointed expert in the Civil Court in Spoleto. The main areas of expertise he is involved in are the following: building works inspections, building structural conformity, property estimation.

Since November 2016 he is signed up Domestic Minister's list as Decree no. 139 (March 8th 2006) Firefighter specialist , for firefighter technical design.

He currently lives and works in Spoleto.

Ms. FABIANA VIRGILI


Fabiana Virgili was born in Spoleto on 12th January 1978. She obtained a diploma as a building surveyor at the Istituto Tecnico per Geometri "Giovanni Spagna" in Spoleto on July 1st 1997 with the mark of 46/60.

In 1997 she started her training at "Studio di Ingegneria e Architetutra Urbanistica di Pier Luigi Pecchioli & C" engineer office.

In 1999 she started cooperating with the same engineer office and was in charge of post-earthquake building renovation works and improvements after the Umbrian earthquake in 1997.

On 20th April 2001 she completed her training and successfully passed the qualifying examination, therefore she joined the Board of chartered Surveyors in the district of Perugia.

In 2005 she joined the "Studio Tecnico Ing. Pecchioli e Associati" engineer office, where she carried out surveys, technical drawings and worked as a building manager. She was also in charge of accounting and new building thermal dispersions calculus.
She also undertook further training to become a Construction Safety Manager.

In 2010 she founded the "Studio Tecnico Associato A.F.M. Progetti" engineer office together with Eng. Matteo Pecchioli and Eng. Andrea Belmonte. In particular, she was in charge of surveys, technical drawings, architectural design, land registry procedures, calculus of thermal dispersion, energy performance certification and construction safety management.

Since 2007 she has been a court-appointed expert in the Civil Court in Spoleto. Her main areas of expertise are property estimations.

She currently lives and works in Spoleto.
