SECTOR DESIGN: INDUSTRIAL RENOVATION AND NEW INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

A particular field of activity is the construction of steel building structures in a new industrial complex. The main targets in this field are: the building efficiency, the cost-effectiveveness, and the high flexibility in the use of the complex, which has to serve several production functions with the minimum additional costs.

The building structure assessment starts with an inspection, which must be carried out on the spot and in the presence of the client, in order to:

  1. determine the complex layout or;
  2. draw up the complex layout together with the customer by carrying out time-methods measurements;
  3. analysing the existing restrictions;
  4. identifying the type of structure which is suitable;
  5. agree on a cost estimate;
  6. evaluate the plant equipment and the related costs;
  7. draw up the final report, once the design is agreed on.

When the work implementation is over, the industrial complex is ready.
